SECSD invites families and community members to the Sherburne-Earlville Drama Club’s production of John Cariani’s “Almost, Maine” on May 3-4 at the MS/HS Auditorium.
Show times are 7 p.m. both nights for this modern romantic comedy featuring a series of vignettes taking place on a winter’s eve in the mythical town of Almost, Maine. Tickets cost $5 apiece and may be purchased at the door.
Eleven student-actors – Liam Acly, Lyrik Brown, Amelia Casscles, Sybil Fenton, McKennah Jones, Jada Kennedy, Evie Krivit, Jaiden Lester, Josie Pierce, Tucker Valentine, and Clark Vischi – portray the endearing and quirky characters in “Almost, Maine,” which is co-directed by Colleen Law-Tefft and Lisette Shiffer.
Other students and parent helpers, including stage managers Ann Campbell and Ben Gorton, will be working backstage and behind the scenes during this full-length play. “Almost, Maine" is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection.
