Scholar Recognition is May 12!

DCMO BOCES and SUNY Oneonta will present its 2021 Business and Education Partnership Scholar Recognition awards at 6 p.m. today! You can watch the ceremony live on the DCMO BOCES YouTube page at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgq3pGQ2wFG2dxP4Jv_SWgA.

Two students and two mentors from Sherburne-Earlville High School will be honored by the program, which enhances relationships among local businesses, schools and institutions of higher/continuing learning.

Graduating students in the DCMO and ONC BOCES supervisory areas are selected based on scholarship, leadership and school/community service. Each student scholar nominates a mentor who has had a significant and beneficial influence on his/her education. Mentors can teach any subject in any grade, from K-12.

DCMO BOCES District Superintendent Perry Dewey will welcome everyone at 6 p.m., with remarks from Bainbridge-Guilford Superintendent Timothy Ryan, NBT Insurance Agency representative Timothy Parsons, and ONC BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Catherine Huber to follow.

Superintendents will present awards to their student/mentor in person at their respective schools. Barring technology glitches, all presentations will be part of the live stream.
