The Sherburne-Earlville Central School District is sending this HUGE THANK YOU to the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, which recently awarded a $1,500 grant to our elementary school to support Literacy Bags for incoming kindergarteners.

The two groups came together for this photo as (left to right) S-E reading teachers Abigail Brown, Amy Thorne, Amanda Collins and Claudia Babcock accept the award from Dollar General representatives Dave Miller, Heather Simmons, Bob Ferris and Tammie Cady. S-E’s Cynthia Watkins also played a part in the grant but was not present for the photo.
