Can you spare $5 for Marshall?

The family and friends of 5-year-old Sherburne-Earlville kindergartener Marshall Sepello are asking everyone they know for a small donation of $5 apiece to help Marshall get the care he needs and deserves. Click to find out how you can help!

Born with a rare heart condition, 5-year-old Sherburne-Earlville kindergartener Marshall Sepello already has endured more than any boy should have to, just to stay alive.

Treatments to keep his heart beating and his lungs breathing have included open-heart surgeries, catheterizations, countless hospital stays, daily shots and medications. The financial impact is simply devastating.

Sadly, Marshall is hospitalized in Syracuse right now, fighting for his life. Heart specialists in Boston would like to make another attempt to save his life, but Marshall’s family would be looking at enormous out-of-pocket expenses in addition to travel expenses and existing medical bills.

Money should not prevent this beautiful, funny and sweet boy from receiving the very best life-saving care for his condition. Unfortunately, there is no time for a benefit, raffle, walk, etc., and the online fundraiser GoFundMe takes a percentage of money collected.

Therefore, Marshall’s family and friends are asking everyone they know for a small donation of $5 apiece to help Marshall get the care he needs and deserves. Whether you know Marshall or not, please consider making a donation of at least $5 to help cover his medical expenses. One-hundred percent of the money donated will go directly toward Marshall’s care.

To make a donation, visit the Elementary or MS/HS main offices; mail a check or money order to “In support of Marshall Sepello,” Sherburne-Earlville Elementary School, 15 School St., Sherburne, NY 13460; or donate through PayPal at [email protected].
